Each team member must be capable in the moana and be ready to assist in the event of a huli during a race.

At a team training, the Steerer/Coach will verify:

• a swim from the pontoon to the beach

• and practice and understanding of your seat responsibility in a huli

These competencies must be met to participate in a race team.
