Our Pūrakau

Nau Mai, Haere Mai!
Te Kauika o Patuharakeke Waka Ama was proudly formed in 2023 and aims to educate our whānau and wider community around water safety and Waka Ama. Waka Ama is open to everyone who loves paddling—whether you're a beginner, a casual paddler, a competitive racer, or an elite athlete.
We value fun and inclusivity, whakawhanaungatanga, and most importantly, local Patuharakeke mātauranga. We foster a strong, supportive, educational kaupapa. Come and be apart of our vibrant community!
