Te Kauika o Patuharakeke Waka Ama was proudly formed in 2023 and aims to educate our whānau and wider community around water safety and Waka Ama.

Values
Manaakitanga: We encourage the practice of reciprocity through sharing of ourselves and our resources, nurturing all people and accepting our differences.
Whanaungatanga: Nurturing our sense of belonging, individual identity and collective strength through kinship within the waka ama community.
Hauora: We aim to uplift the overall wellbeing of all our members through kinship and waka ama.
Tu Tangata: We are accountable for our actions. We practise respect for ourselves, others, the environment and our resources. We stand proud in our integrity.
Huri noa: We promote community inclusiveness
Hononga: We aim to increase cohesion of the community through promotion and encouragement of participation.

Te Kauika o Patuharakeke Incorporation:
